Weight Management with the Prescription hCG Diet

It’s a simple truth of life that as women age, we tend to put on a bit of weight. Women as young as 30 can experience this phenomenon, as stress, having children, the onset of menopause, and the simple fact that our bodies are starting to slow down can all be contributing factors. Sometimes diet and exercise just isn’t enough, and that is when some women opt for surgery to get rid of stubborn, unwanted pounds. But there’s a better solution: the hCG diet.

What is the hCG Diet?

The hCG diet is a weight management plan that was discovered in the 1950s, and is based around hCG, a hormone which is produced naturally by a woman's body in the early weeks of pregnancy, that helps to dissolve body fat into the bloodstream to be used by the body as energy.

There’s a lot of information circulating about the hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) diet right now, and with all of the conflicting plans and theories, it can be difficult to know where to start. As with any diet or exercise plan, you should discuss the hCG diet with a trained medical professional before considering it for yourself - a medical professional like Dr. Brockman at Caddell’s Laser and Electrolysis Clinic. Contrary to the claims of numerous seedy websites, not all hCG is the same. Real, effective hCG can only be prescribed by a physician. Caddell’s patients using the prescription hCG diet are under the care of Dr. Brockman throughout the course of their diet.

How It Works

Essentially, the hCG diet makes your body work better by helping to remove body fat and to re-program your metabolism to keep you from putting that fat back on after the diet is finished. Most importantly, unlike some low-calorie diets that can deteriorate muscles and deplete all of the body’s fat stores (good and bad), hCG only affects the extra ‘rainy-day’ fat that our bodies are so fond of storing but which we simply don’t need now that we’ve moved beyond a hunter-gatherer society.

Dr. Brockman’s Plan

Under Dr. Brockman’s diet plan, patients eat 6 small meals per day (following certain requirements), drink 4 protein shakes, and use electrolyte supplements. Patients also drink ½ of their body weight in ounces of water, coffee, or tea, and measure their Ketone levels daily. And, unlike many hCG diet plans (which limit food intake to as little as 500 calories per day! Eek!), there is no calorie counting!

At the start of the hCG program, you will meet with Dr. Brockman and receive:Weight Management with hCG

  • hCG – either as a cream or tablets
  • Protein powder
  • 100 count Ketone testing strips
  • Electrolyte Supplements
  • MCT Oil (Medium Chain Triglyceride Oil)
  • Kitchen Scale

And, unlike most hCG diet plans, you’re never alone. Dr. Brockman will be available to address your questions or concerns throughout the entire course of your diet. So, if you’re ready to take real steps to get rid of and keep from re-gaining unhealthy, unsightly body fat, contact Caddell’s to RSVP for an informational meeting to find out more and to see how the hCG diet can help you reduce and maintain your weight for life.
