More often, these days, individuals with tattoos are desiring replacements of tattoos that are old, undesirable, or no longer represent who they are. They are desiring a "cover" over their old tattoos. Sometimes this can be accomplished with just re-inking over the old tattoo with a new tattoo.

However, some old tattoos are just too dark for an artist to ink over. The result may not be what is intended, and the individual may not be satisified with the final result. To avoid a problem like this, laser tattoo treatments may just be the answer because it can significantly help in the transition process so that the new art has a better place to stand out. More and more tattoo artists are recommending laser treatments prior to individuals getting a cover just because they know the final result will be much better.

"It is MUCH easier to do work over a tattoo that has been lightened. I have had laser treatments myself done by Greg Pintor PA-C at Caddell's Laser Clinic, and I know I can trust his work. He is very professional and definitely knows his stuff. I refer to him all of my clients who are needing laser tattoo work done, including other artists that work in my shop. We are all very pleased with the outcomes." - Jason, tattoo artist.
