Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is a safe, effective treatment for the rapid, gentle removal of unwanted hair. Laser hair removal is a procedure in which hair is removed utilizing a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed by the hair. In laser hair removal, the laser energy is then transformed into heat which disables the follicle.

Two lasers are used at Caddell's Laser Clinic for laser hair removal treatment, the Alexandrite for Fair to Medium Skin and the Nd:Yag for Dark pigmented skin. During the laser hair removal procedure, the specialists at Caddell's determine the client's skin type using the Fitzpatrick skin chart, to determine which laser will be most effective for the laser hair removal treatment. Many clients will have more than one laser used on their hair, depending on the reaction to treatment.
